The Squash Blossom, aka Squash Flower, Zucchini Blossom, and Zucchini Flower, is an edible flower that grows from the top of summer squash and Zucchini. Before using, pull out the stamen and then they can be chopped and added to a salad or used as a garnish. In Italy they are stuffed with a cheese and herb mixture, battered, and deep fried for a dish called Fiori Di Zucca.
