The Green Sierra Fig is one of the many varieties of figs and was introduced in the mid-2000’s. It has a jam like interior that is aromatic and sweet. It is best used on its own or in a salad or with a dessert but can also be used for making jam or compote. The best substitutes would be the Adriatic Fig and Calimyrna Fig. The Fig Leaf can also used as an edible wrap.
