Fresh Wasabi Root has a much better flavor than the artificial Wasabi Paste you usually find. It is a lot like Horseradish Root with a nutty-medium spicy flavor and stringy-woody texture. Grate it and use as garnish, in Aïoli, sushi, or Vinaigrette.
