We made it back from New Orleans in one piece but a little heavier. We ate a lot of great food and explored some new ingredients from the city. You will not have a hard time finding fried food and heavy sauces on the menu, but you will have a hard time finding vegetables, and when you do find a vegetable, it seems to always be an arugula salad with beets, cheese, and pecans.

We had a chance to visit the Southern Food & Beverage Museum, farmers markets, The Creole Tomato Festival, and we also ate at a lot of great restaurants. New Orleans is must visit city for all foodies.
