Baby Fava Bean

These are the young Fava Beans before they mature and can be prepared differently than the matured bean. Use the whole pod and roast, boil, steam, fry, or sauté. One of the best preparations I have seen is roasted in a pizza oven. Baby fava beans are milder than the mature favas with a grassy-vegetal flavor.
