The lamb's hass avocado has a dark hard shell and is larger and rounder then a regular Hass Avocado and it has a creamy-nutty-oily flesh. Great raw in salads or sandwiches or puréed for Guacamole, a cold soup, or vinaigrette. Any other types of avocado would make good substitutes.
