Rhubarb is an ingredient that is available in the springtime. The fibrous stalks need to be cooked and they have a tart flavor and are often paired with Strawberries and used in desserts like betty, cobbler, crumble, crisp, and sweet pie. Rhubarb can also be used for chutney, compote, jam, preserves, sauce, and relish.
