Recently Foraged Ingredients: Vol. 13

Tale of two sides of the country. The East is still fighting with the snow, and the West has abundant sunshine and a diminishing water supply. But in the world of produce: The spring ingredients have begun in the west. Asparagus, Artichokes, Green Garlic, Spring Onions, and Green Strawberries (pictured) have started. Morel Mushrooms, Fiddlehead Ferns, Ramps, English Peas, Fava Beans, Ripe Strawberries and Rhubarb are not far behind.

We are finding a lot of different varieties of Rapini, Flowers and Blossoms showing up in the market right now. Grab these vegetables in their different stages of growth and showcase them in different applications.
