National Food Days- November 2014

Welcome to the November edition of the National Food Days calendar (click on the calendar to expand). Thanksgiving is in November, this year it is on the 27th, and that makes it a big month for food in the U.S. Thanksgiving dishes make an appearance on the calendar this month: Stuffing (21st) and Cranberry Relish (22nd)

For the Month of November, enjoy- Pomegranates, Figs (first week only if you can find them in season), and with the cool weather and the many varieties of root vegetables and hard squashes available, Roasting. Don’t forget, this calendar is intended to give you some ideas to get creative with, so have fun with it! Here are the food items that have a dedicated day this month:
